Originally, this account was set up to be a poetry account, but after I found out I couldn't do s*** with poetry, I switched to prose.
Lurking In The Chimney: I had a monster in mind for the main character to see, but then decided that it's maybe best to leave it to the imagination of the reader.
Goodbye Emily: Had intended an actual doll to kill Emily, instead of a real person.
Jumbled: Main character was supposed to simply go insane from trying to fit together an impossible puzzle, but I thought it would have been more interesting to have the puzzle come alive.
The Walls Are Breathing: The setting (The house) was modeled after a friend's ACTUAL house.
Things In The Muck: I had the lake that my cabin is on in mind when I wrote this story, so it probably scarred me more than it did everybody else.
Into the Ecnarbmemer: The story is about Alzheimers, and of course, Ecnarbmemer spelt backwards (Or the right way, in this case) spells remembrancE.
Alesticar from the RPOL Series was meant to have the code name "The fleeting Image", and wasn't supposed to actually be a being which bled insanity and cause madness to everybody who came into contact with him.
The Sin Of Lust: I had intended every person to be in love with the girl (Not just the main character) and actually have her kill everybody at the workplace (Minus the main character).
The Sin Of Envy: Was only supposed to go as far as muscles. I never intended for it to get into organs and crap.
The Sin Of Wrath: I based the monster off of one of my friend's drawings.

Always be sure to double check spelling and grammar.
If you're writing about a topic you don't know much about, do research on it.
Don't be redundant about explaining things. (i.e. He picked up the cane and held it with his hand. Then, holding the cane, he...) etc.
Take in both good and bad critique to help balance your writing and improve.
Don't get pressured into implementing something into your writing that you don't want.
Always make outlines so you can get the storyline and don't write yourself into a corner.
It is probably preferrable that you write in the genre that appeals to you the most (Horror, Fantasy, Romance, Action, etc.)
Don't expect too much at the beginning. Like all things, writing takes patience and practice, just like drawing or painting.
Don't copy-cat other styles. Find out what flows best for you and do that instead.
Be sure to input the senses when describing things. What's around the character? What does it smell, look, feel, sound, or even taste like? All are important.
Don't put double spacing between parts of dialogue (Like when the speaker switches to a different character). It's a waste of time, space, and doesn't look good.
Inspiration is EVERYWHERE. All you need to do is pay attention to things that stand out to you - like music, objects, people, etc. - and create a story around it.
If all else fails, search on the web for writing prompts (There are thousands, if not MILLIONS), or go take a writer's class to improve.
Just remember that you are a creator. It doesn't matter if the character you create is an a-hole. That doesn't make YOU an a-hole too. Just have fun in creating your characters.

Considering that I got an immense amount of feedback from the poll saying that I should hold a contest to determine which idea is best, I think I might just take you guys all up on that. Good news! I have come up with a jolly good system that will hopefully prod more people into reading my books, and perhaps even hook them on my literature overall, granting me more watchers. Oh goody!Here is how it works: Every time I post a chapter, I'll include anywhere from 5-12 questions. These questions will be in-depth, and will require thinking. I'm going to make sure that you guys can't BS them just to get the rewards, which brings me to my second thing...
When you answer these questions, you'll get assigned a certain amount of points based on your answer. You can then later transfer these points into things like commissions and features. Sorry, I can't afford to give out prints, subscriptions, etc. HOWEVER! If anybody wishes to donate prizes to this point system, I will distribute those accordingly to whomever gets the designated points Now, I will give you all a possible question that I may write as an example:
